Hey everyone! I sincerely hope each one of you reading this blog post is healthy and safe. Today, I really wanted to be up, close and personal with my readers; hence, I am not going to be sharing any hacks related to style, because let's face it, I don't follow any myself these days. We are obviously aware of the umpteen number of problems and crises that people around us are facing, but keeping it out straight, our lives revolve just around a single piece of existence, and that is, ourselves. So even though we may be living under a roof, having enough food, equipped with the required technology and resources to work and drive our way through the day (which we are absolutely grateful for), we are not contented.

Sharing my own experience, every day since the last few days, when I wake up after a long and fulfilling sleep in the morning, the first thought that crosses my mind is, 'how am I going to spend my day differently from yesterday and with an increased sense of productivity?' and as you may have guessed, I don't have a decent answer to serve myself or to convince myself with. And that, I tell you, is disappointing.

The reason being, we may be thinking that we will do this and do that when the world will resume its normal pace and when things get restored to the way they were before this global pandemic, do you notice that: our life span is indifferent to all that is going on? This time period is also being counted and subtracted from our allotted time on earth? So should we just let ourselves kill time now in anticipation of a utopia sort of a future? No. Because if you look back, maybe we took everything for granted (and that I agree is basic human nature, and I ain't gonna preach anything about that), but were we absolutely happy or blissful in life back then? No, right? Then what makes us think that the post-corona period is going to be a bed of roses? I am not saying that we should stop conceiving of a beautiful future. Definitely not, because that would mean the end of hope, and we definitely don't want that to happen! But, the point I am trying to make is that our present stands unequivocally at the same position of importance as our future does. Our present shouldn't be conceived as a waiting period for something prominent, it should be viewed as having huge prominence of its own. I would sum it up by saying that maybe I have yet not found the most suitable answer to present to myself each morning about how I should go about my day, I am trying, and will continue doing so. Maybe I don't feel the excitement or the enthusiasm to dress stylishly or to keep myself presentable, I accept the fact that that's just who I am these days. Yes, I said 'these days', because we are not a constant creation, we are designed to be dynamic. We change and evolve each day. Of course there will be times when I am going to be at my stylish best, and I eagerly look forward to it, but I am in no way going to look badly upon the time which I have in my hands right now, because as I said in my first blog post, 'Style is very subjective' and just as it depends on and varies from individual to individual, it also varies from time to time and from frame of mind to frame of mind. So I am going to let myself just be. Because only when I am comfortable the way I am, can my style emerge and excel!
